Case BBOPF 18-1
Dr. Peter Polverini (University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Ann Arbor, Michigan. USA) would like your opinion on the following case (available from February 20 - March 2, 2018).
Clinical History
A 33-year-old female with the chief complaint of red, swollen, bleeding gums of unknown origin. The patient brushes twice a day, and flosses at least once a day. Radiographs reveal unilateral bone loss involving both the left maxilla and mandible that extends up to the midline. The patient’s medical history is unremarkable. Enclosed are clinical pictures, full mouth radiographic films, periodontal evaluation of pocket depth and tooth mobility. No biopsy of the involved tissues is available at this point.
Your opinion is much appreciated.
