Case BBOPF 17-1

Dr. David Nunez (Harlingen, Texas. USA) would like to know your thoughts about the following case (the case will be available for comments from June 25-July 3, 2017).

Clinical History

This is a 12 y/o girl who has had these bilateral projections below her lip since birth. They are asymptomatic and the associated lingual mucosa is unremarkable with no evidence of lip pits. While I am certain that these soft-tissue projections are developmental and benign, I was wondering if anyone else has seen them before or if there is a name for these lesions.
