Clinical History

An 82 year old female presented with a persistent verrucous exophytic mass extending from the right posterior maxillary alveolus through the tuberosity, anterior tonsillar pillar and retromolar pad to the right maxillary buccal vestibule.

It was first noted in 2007 as a persistent mass of the right maxillary buccal vestibule following extraction of the right maxillary 2nd and 3rd molars.

Biopsies in 2007, June 2009 and July 2009 all have a similar microscopic appearance.
