Dr. Elias Romero (Department of Oral Pathology, School of Dentistry Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico) invites your diagnosis, for one of his cases.

More specifically, he would like to know if you would diagnose this case as:

  1. Odontogenic Carcinoma - Primary intraosseous carcinoma, keratinizing type
  2. Squamous cell carcinoma arising in the maxillary sinus epithelial lining or,
  3. Any other diagnosis.

Clinical History

66 years-old female presented with a growth localized in the right maxilla. The patient reported the presence of some pain. The lesion has been present for the last 6 months.
