in BBOP.
Clinical History
Eight-year-old Hispanic female with a lesion of unknown duration on the
attached gingiva of #23 area. The provisional clinical diagnosis was
fibroma. The lesion was firm to palpation, normal in color and with a mild
cobblestone surface. It was limited to soft tissue, no underlying bone
involvement noted by the surgeon. No radiographs were sent with the
specimen and no clinical photos were taken.
Sixteen photomicrographs are shown below to illustrate the entire specimen
including high magnifications of pertinent areas.
Dr. Kessler is interested to see what is your diagnosis since this case
does not seems to fit very well into any specific category.
