Clinical History

48 year old male with stable HIV disease (he's been HIV + for over 15 years and a long-standing (>4 years) severe hpv infection. The patient has been to multiple providers and received a range of therapies including carbon dioxide laser ablation, topical podophyllum resin, and interferon injections (both intralesional and systemic). He rebounded with more widespread disease following laser therapy alone. I don't have a clear history of the podophyllum resin application regimen but he thought it helped somewhat. The interferon worked best (don't have the exact dosage history) but he suffered a severe leukopenia/anemia following systemic injections. He is presently applying imiquimod to his lips with mild benefit.
